C Z A R I N A opens a portal into the dark ages, leading a crusade in the name of the Divine Feminine with the gothic, ethereal modern synthpop track “Holy Water.” Drawing from medieval imagery and atmosphere, as well as the lore of holy crusades, the song strikes at the core of faith and religion, unmasking hidden truths in a quest to reclaim power and sovereignty.
Featuring C Z A R I N A’s signature celestial sound, “Holy Water” weaves Gregorian chants and sweeping orchestration into modern synthpop, darkwave, and gothic sensibilities, forming a richly brocaded soundscape that collides sacred rituals with rebellion and consecrated rage.
For fans of Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux, The Cure, and Dead Can Dance, “Holy Water” was fully produced, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by C Z A R I N A and is accompanied by a music video inspired by Arthurian and Medieval-themed vintage films like Excalibur and LadyHawke.
